God is so Cool

On Sunday I heard from Tyler again and he invited Courtney and I to come to church with the guys. I decided to go [Courtney couldn't because of Rush] and I rode with Lisa [a friend of mine from highschool who is my new next-door-neighbor]. We checked out the evening service at a local church called E3. It had a very coffee shop vibe to it and was really nice. I loved the sermon. The message focused on John 17 which is Jesus' prayer for believers. It is an amazingly intimate prayer and it is so wonderful to read. God is so personal and I mean, what an awesome thought: Jesus Christ prayed for you! I can't get over it! How beautiful!
After that Courtney and I just took it easy in the room. We headed to Publix for some subs and then spent the evening watching Breakfast at Tiffany's and just talking. It was so much fun. I am so excited for all that God has in store. It is so evident that He has big things planned for SouthGate and FSU. It is awesome that all of us from Edgewater with a desire to change the college experience stereotype ended up on the same building, same floor, and same hallway 4 hours from home!
Courtney, Lisa and I went to LifeWay and picked out a Bible Study book. We are going to start a girls group and just grow in faith and grow in Christ together. I am so excited. I can't stop saying how excited I am! God is just so cool!

  1. Awesome! I looked up E3 (Element3) online, cause I had never heard of it. I think we might know one of the people on staff there... gotta check with Rahul on that- Where was it?
