Friday night we all went out to dinner [Bill and Courtney included] at Applebee's. Then the girls headed to The Box where we watched Breakfast At Tiffany's and fell asleep!
Saturday was GAME DAY! And what a day it was. The game started at noon, but we had to get up extra early for Homeless Ministry. What a great time to spend with loved ones: serving others! It is an amazing thing. Homeless Ministry has become one of my favorite things to do here! Then came the game. I managed to get Shelbs and Leah both into the student section, after tailgating with Uncle Larry beforehand.
Shelbs and Kara, Courtney's sister, have become really good friends! How happy!
And of course we had to get the Garnet and Gold Boys in a pic!
Now while they were in town, I had a project for Interior Design due on Monday. Well, it was actually due on Wednesday but I wanted to head home sooner so I opted to turn it in early. And in true Sarah form, I waited until Sunday to do it. We went to Michaels and got all the supplies, and Home Depot too! Then, after dinner with Courtney's family at CARABBA'S [YUM-O!], we headed back to The Box. I was definitely up until 2:30 a.m. finishing it, while Shelbs and Leah were sleeping the night away. But it's okay. I finished, turned in the project the next morning and by 10:30 we were O-Town Bound!
