Since we really didn't have a specific address to type into the Magellan [Courtney's GPS thing in her car], we decided to choose 1st street. It just so happened that First Street was not exactly in the best part of town. It was a little rundown but it did have a familiar street name, check it out:
Once we found the strip of stores we walked up and down looking in every antique shop we could! I saw a brick wall that was simply picture-worthy so, of course, I captured it! We also found this amazing piece of furniture that would make a GREAT t.v. stand and with all of the drawers there is plenty of storage for DVDs and all that jazz.
I wish I had pictures of our "detour" because it was the most beautiful mistake I've ever made. The road we took to head the right direction was a two-lane road winding through a canopy of trees. Sunlight flickered through the branches and cast a golden glow, washing the colors of everything as if we were in an old movie. There were gorgeous plantation homes on large planes of green with curtains of orange and red autumn leaves. It was incredible! What a beautiful reminder of the splendor and detail of God's creations!

So beautiful! I am wondering how you got lost going straight on Thomasville Road, but I won't ask any questions! The pics are awesome! We need to go there sometime when we are up for another visit. I went in the winter and it was just nothing but cold!
